We were all together at a most
significant time in our country's history, and we answered the call.
Everyone asks what can we do to help .. it's easy, join us for the
camaraderie, the revelry, help us let the good times roll and to reminisce
with friends and to gather in new friends, one can never have too many.

Staff.
Crowne Plaza Hotel
Melbourne - Oceanfront
25 Sep - 1 Oct, 2007

Our President, Joe Demes and Staff considered
other options for the reunion but settled on the Crowne Plaza Hotel,
which in the past was the Holiday Inn, Ocean Front.
It
had been renovated and proved to be a great location,
once again. The
rooms were nice, hospitality was great and many other activities were
available in the area.
Once again, as always, hospitality is
the glue that binds. Many thanks to Joe and staff (board members) and
many others for the food, libation and camaraderie.

Joe and Nick share memories of the B-52 and 306th
Bomb Wing, McCoy AFB, during the Cold War and Viet Nam. Both are World
War II veterans as well. They close the interview with an appeal for
more B-52 Memorial attention, at the Orlando International Airport.

Tontine
Each evening draws to a close with a meeting of the club with a
round of story telling and toasts. Central to the club is an age old
tradition of Tontine in which the last and sole surviving member
inherits the oldest and best bottle of Single Malt Scotch.

High Tea
The Third annual High Tea was held in a packed hospitality
suite (standing room only). The first High Tea was held in Seattle.
The attendance at this year's event was so large that it will become
an annual highlight of our reunions:
Thank You hospitality
staff.

Luau on the deck turned out to be Luau Inside,
because of weather but all had a very nice time. It was also Bob
Demes' day of milestones: His birthday and first day as Grandfather.
His dad and mom became great grandparents.

Other
Events
Other events included a Delta Rocket launch, Ocean
View Scenes, Trip to BCC Planetarium and Get Away Breakfast. The
Rocket Launch was our second one from the same Hospitality Suite. The
first was Senator John Glenn's second trip to space. Weather was
mostly just right and very dramatic ocean scenes were abundant,
including a Harvest Moon over the ocean. The BCC trip was a hair
raising experience and the Get Away breakfast was a final calming
experience.
